Alison Lombard is a SR. Human Resources Consultant with driven HR. A highly valued member of the driven HR team, Alison’s professional passion, and primary focus is on helping business owners, managers, and other HR professionals understand and navigate the complexities of the employment relationship.
An HR professional more than 10 years, Alison began her career as an HR associate with Target Corporation. In order to grow professionally, Alison accepted a position as an HR generalist with an engineering firm in the early stages of a long and sustained period of growth through acquisition. Quickly rising in the department, Alison became part of the acquisition team assigned to bring newly-acquired offices on board and in line with corporate policies and procedures, HRIS, benefits, and payroll. In addition, she had supervisory responsibility for a number of HR generalists located throughout the U.S.
Alison earned her Masters of Science in Management from Nazareth College in May 2014. In addition, she is currently certified by the HR Certification Institute as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR), and by the Society for Human Resource Management as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).
Alison is a member of the National Human Resources Association (NHRA), where she volunteers her time on the Silent Auction Committee and a peer mentor in the NHRA Mentoring program. In 2012, Alison was a recipient of the Rochester NHRA Professional Scholarship. This highly competitive award is presented to a member who demonstrates a strong dedication to the organization, the human resource profession, and continuing professional education.
